Dr. MarieEve Berthiaume, podiatrist, received her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières and has been a member of the Québec Order of Podiatric Medicine since her graduation in 2011. She improved her competencies by participating in a four month fieldwork placement at the reputable New York College of Podiatric Medicine (NYCPM) in New York, New York. During her studies she participated in various congresses, conferences and ongoing training workshops including training by the Canadian Association of Wound Care in Montreal in 2010 (Workshop in Wound CareLevel I and II). She also participated to a workshop on Podiatric NeuroProprioceptive Taping Level I in 2011 and a workshop on Integrated Therapeutic Techniques in Podiatry in 2014.
Since her collegial studies, Dr. Berthiaume, DPM, has had an interest for medicine. Following an observational fieldwork placement in a foot clinic near her hometown, she discovered that her passion for medicine laid more specifically in podiatry.
Native of Trois-Rivières, she accepted to practice podiatry full time at the Foot Clinic of Gatineau for two years before deciding to move closer to Montreal where she practiced at Clinique podiatrique Chomedey and Centre podiatrique et soin des plaies in Boucherville. After accumulating valuable and diverse experiences, she decided to establish her own clinic, Clinique Podiatrique de la Pointe-de-l’Île in the borough of Pointe-aux-Trembles.
